We Are a Club for Everyone . . .

For over 50 years, neighbors and friends have met weekly to make a difference to enjoy the company of the Tyler Kiwanis club.

Over a noon meal and lively conversations, this club has brought people together to learn and work and help the community in countless ways.

We Make a Difference . . .

Over the years it has been the members of Tyler Kiwanis who:

  • Host the annual Tyler Easter Egg Hunt
  • Sponsor the RTR Terrific Kids Program
  • Adopt a section of Highway 14
  • Erected the city flagpole
  • Sponsor the Tyler Cub Scouts
  • Provide flower boxes on Main Street
  • Give children's books to local day cares
  • Help stop Iodine Deficiency in the world
  • Support with donations: RTR Scholarship Fund, Dollars for Scholars, Tyler library, Sunrise Manor Nursing Home, Community Education and many more . . .

Where Do You Eat Lunch Every Wednesday?

The members of Kiwanis meet each Wednesday, 12:05 p.m., at the Tyler Pizza Ranch conference room. There they enjoy:

  • a buffet lunch
  • a chance to meet new people, and see good friends again
  • a weekly porgram on various topics presented by guests and local residents

 

~ ~ ~ How to Join the Tyler Kiwanis ~ ~ ~

  • 1st: Come and Visit. We'll buy your lunch!
  • 2nd: Enjoy yourself and come again.
  • 3rd: Talk to a Kiwanis member about joining. The annual fee is just $65. Weekly meals are at a discounted rate of $5.50
  • 4th: Get involved and take part. This is an organization that encourages everyone to participate and enjoy opportunites to give back to the community.
